I was very pleased with it after I got it put in by Bestbuy(way overpriced) but everything about this product made me happy, even though the amp is a little small wattage wise, it does its job for sure. I would reccomend another 350 Kenwood amp for this. BUY THIS IF YOU WANT A GOOD SYSTEM FOR CHEAP |

Customer Rating:  03/11/2010 Not bad sound by MusicMakesLifeGood I was able to pick up this package for $170 when it was on sale. I installed them into a sealed box from Best Buy that I got for $50. Had to be sealed because I have a truck with not alot of room, sealed boxes are typically not as deep as ported boxes. Also got a Rockford Fosgate wiring package on clearance (Got the 4 gauge, not necessary, but the bigger the wires the less resistance). With the amp that comes with the package, the bass was really clear, but not impressive. Didn't really hit as hard as I was hoping it to. Got a 500w rms Rockford Fosgate amp, running them at 2ohms. Wow, huge difference, definitely hits hard now, rattles the neighborhood!! |

Customer Rating: 01/11/2010 Good purchase for the price... by RandyMSI Bought this package as part of a Christmas gift for my daughter and installed it into her Ford Fusion. The speakers are more than capable of handling the power from the amp. The amp is pretty basic... gain only, no crossover capability. Ended up hooking the amp to the two 12" subs and two existing rear 6x9's in her car to give it a bit more clarity with the amplified bass. Sounds good, daughter's very happy, and the package deal of two 12's and and amp was much cheaper than buying the components seperately. |

But i must say, i have a 87ford broncoII nd i have the amp at middle input sensitivity, i have the bass set to negative on my head unit, and the subwoofer option on my head unit is also at negative one, and the low pass filter is on, yet this system still vibrates my car to the point where its annoyin almost. its not the speakers fault, i just have an older car with loose parts in the cargo area door. But When i turned up the sensitivity, bass, nd the subwoofer option, even my friend who have like 4 subs in their cars said it was too loud... Overall the sound is deep esp with a PORTED box, ye it is distorted under certain criteria. still good for the money for a simple bass boost to any system for cheap |

Customer Rating: 12/13/2009 Nice Subwoofers! by Nandiitho I bought them on Black Friday, so I paid $149. These subs hit very hard. They are rated at 200 watts rms each and the amp is rated at 60 watts rms (150w rms when bridged) I installed the subwoofers in parallel and bridged so I'm getting 150w on each sub. It's a little bit less wattage than what the subs are rated at, but they still sound loud. I recommend this system to anyone that wants a system and doesn't want to spend a lot of money. |
