We bought our unit two years ago and it's still working great. We've had trouble in the past with the CD player in boomboxes skipping after a short time even with careful handling but so far so good with this one. Only complaint: hard to see the numerals in the deep blue LCD display if you are farther than 3 feet away from it. Why couldn't they have chosen light green or yellow? Also, we bought one recently for my father, and, as another reviewer mentioned, it apparently no longer comes with a remote (even though it is listed on the spec sheet). Still, we are very pleased with the sound quality and the functionality of the radio/iPod dock/CD player.

I liked how portable it was. I could carry it with me to the bathroom, or kitchen, or wherever. It was light, and one piece, and had a handle. It had pretty good sound for being so small. Bass worked well, and you can adjust it. It has a cd player and radio, and came with a remote as well. HOWEVER, it had occasional electrical issues, such as I couldn't adjust the volume or turn a song, and I had it for almost exactly a year and it up and quit on me. Worked one minute, then I plugged it in and no power would come on. I only paid $50 for it, so I guess you get what you pay for. I expected it to work for more then a year though.

I compared this model in the store alongside players that were twice the price -- and this one sounded even better than some of the more expensive models. I also loved the fact that the iPod dock kept my iPhone or iPod easily accessible. (Some other models put the iPod/iPhone inside a door, which means you have to remove your iPhone case/bumper, and you don't have easy access to your iPhone if you get a call). I snatched this off the shelf and was happy with it at first. But it became quickly apparent that the CD player part of it was junk. Had difficulty playing any CD -- and I tried many, many CDs. I returned this to the store and am on the hunt for a better product. DON'T BUY THIS.

I bought this to be able to change the music remotely, although the website specifications show it comes with the remote, it does not. It used to come with one. the sound is good for the size of this.

I bought this for use at work. The AM radio has never worked and the FM is OK, but the signal strength is not great. iPod works fine but the CD player was unreliable. A few CDs would play all the way through but most would hang up. I bought/used it mostly for iPod and FM use and fortunately it worked for those. Overall this thing is garbage and deserves a zero stars rating.

This is a great sounding box but most of our CDs will not play without skips. They play fine in our other players but not this one. Did not try the radio or iPod dock, just got it to play CDs because it sounded great. I've seen this comment before so it goes back and we try another brand.
