3ds it's amazing without using 3d glasses, fun, the only way I rate it a 4.0 because it doesnt play YouTube videos and sometimes surfing on web a bit slow. |

Works great. No trouble. Only down side is that it can't play classic games. I guess I'll need to keep my old DS. |

Bought this so I could play Mario 3-D and Mario Kart 7 with my 12 y.o. daughter. Coop play was easy to set up and made it real cool to play. We have had Mario and Mario Kart since the Gamecube and really enjoy racing against each other. The only setback is it's size. It's just too small for adult-sized hands. I bought an aftermarket grip that snapped onto the bottom of the 3-ds and it made it easier to hold and operate all the buttons. The battery life is excellant and the screens are relatively easy to see in the daytime. The included stylus telescopes to make it easier for adults to use.

The battery charger should have 110v-220v. I burn my charger because it was only a 110v charger.

I have owned my 3DS for almost a year now and so far I am very impressed with the system. When I first got it, it was $250 and I almost thought that I had wasted my money, but I didn't. Even at $250 I thought that this was a great buy, and now it's only $169.99. The system quality is pretty well done, but the build is pretty bulky and quite hard to put in a small pant pocket. The only concern I have is that the top screen seems less stable than the previous DS models, but I don't think it will be a problem in the future. You get quite a bit of things with the system even without any games, such as face raiders and playing with the AR card. When the system was first released it really had no good games out their, but now with games such as Mario Kart 7, Super Mario 3D land, Resident Evil Revelations, their is endless amount of fun to be had. The battery life is a drawback from the system, but there is an optional battery pack for it that adds almost double the battery life. The only other minor drawback I have with the system is the limited view of the 3D and the cameras. The 3D works great, as long as you don't move around. The cameras work great, but I do wishes that they would have chosen better quality cameras. With great games, and a good price, even if you own a DS or are thinking about purchasing a 3DS, I think that it is a very good choice for someone who wants Excellent console quality games ( IN 3D) on the go!

We bought this for our almost 7 year old son after doing some research on the 3DS. We had some hesitation about buying this for our son, given that reviews said the 3D portion was not good for kids, but we found out that through parental controls you can turn off the 3D and many other things which make it a much better system for a 7 year old. It seems all the new and better games coming out are and will be for the 3DS, which has better graphics than the previous models, so we choose this model and are very happy with the decision.
